MSS’ Local Operations include specialists and design experts who are skilled in providing custom packing, crating, restoration, and installation of fine art and antiques to meet the needs of museums, artists, private collectors, auction houses, and galleries. Timothy Hughes originally conceived the idea that became MSS when he worked as a dispatcher for a nationwide van line in the 1970′s. While in this position, Tim was frequently faced with the time-consuming task of identifying and coordinating the schedules of multiple tradesmen often required to assist in a household move. In 1978 he founded the company that would solve this problem and never looked back.
